Product designer and antiquarian Sarah Willett runs her global business, PATINA VIE, from a quaint hamlet in Wisconsin’s emerald countryside. The rustic studio is set in an 1840’s era Swedish cottage complete with a flock of fancy chickens and a pair of English bulldog pups. Willett’s career designing product spans several decades beginning in the early 90’s. Over the years Sarah has created spectacular behind-the-scenes collections for such industry notables as Target, Home Goods, TJ Maxx and Lowes. In 2012, Willett launched her own brand PATINA VIE. At the heart of these collections is Sarah’s authentic lifestyle; living, dreaming and creating in a most remote and romantic countryside in the heart of the Midwest.
PATINA VIE fashionable goods including tabletop, rugs, wallpaper and more are inspired by the vintage finds she curates during her travels around the world to such exotic locations as Portugal, England, Thailand, and Mexico. PATINA VIE’s goods can be found at stylish retailers such as Anthropologie, Neiman Marcus, Harrods, Selfridges, Macy’s, Horchow and the like. Sarah describes PATINA VIE as “where history and style collide”; and the overwhelming global success of this charming and unique brand continues to expand as categories increase and distribution expands. Summer of 2018 saw the opening of Willett’s PATINA VIE flagship store in historic and pastoral Ripon, Wisconsin.
